***All New for 2016!*** Returning to New York and Los Angeles and debuting in New Jersey and Boston is the most iconic, truly unique family-friendly fall event, RISE of the Jack O’Lanterns! Come see thousands of hand-carved illuminated jack o’lanterns creatively arranged along a scenic walking path and set to a musical score designed to bring out the Halloween spirit in visitors of all ages! The various new and exciting themes created for 2016 are sure to impress both RISE newbies and returning RISE fans.

This year, we’re DOUBLING the number of intricately carved 100+ pound pumpkins on display which our artists spend 10-15 hours on per pumpkin to illustrate and carve to perfection. We’re also bringing back our iconic multi-pumpkin structures that consist of dozens of illuminated jack o’lanterns assembled into life-sized pieces of art. You’ll see classic fan-favorites like life-sized dinosaurs, dragons, and safari animals, as well as a number of new structures featuring time-honored characters from some favorite movies, including one that will make you feel like you’re in a galaxy far, far, away.

Our live carving efforts are expanding for 2016 so that you can learn more about how we do what we do! We’ll have four live-carving stations where you can watch our artists create the different types of displays you see in the show all right before your eyes! Watch us illustrate and carve our famous 100+ pound pumpkins, see us build a multi-pumpkin jack o’lantern structure similar to our iconic raptor skeletons, catch some of the most talented pumpkin sculptors in the country carving our signature 3D sculpted pumpkins, and learn how our team churns out thousands of Halloween jack o’lanterns per day, in our Mini Carving Factory.

At The RISE, we've always had a mixture of jack o'lantern art hand-carved from both fresh real pumpkins and from life-like carveable artificial pumpkins. We're going to continue that tradition this year because there are certain things we can only do with real pumpkins and certain things we can only do with artificial ones. For the first time in 2016, we're planning on carving and lighting 5,000 FRESH REAL PUMPKINS each weekend at each location! We're planning on bringing in hundreds of carvers over a 2-day period prior to each weekend to get all the work done at each location!

The RISE is the only jack o'lantern event in North America that comes close to carving 5,000 real pumpkins each weekend at each location (and doing it on two coasts simultaneously isn't a walk through the pumpkin patch either!).

Can you believe that "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" is 50 years old this year? It's true! The iconic prime-time animated television special based on the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schultz first debuted in 1966! To mark this special occasion, The RISE has partnered up with Peanuts to bring your most memorable moments from the TV special to life in Jack O'Lanterns! We'll have a number of these memorable scenes carved into our 100+ pound giant pumpkins at each of our locations in 2016!
